candida vs endometriosis

Candida and Endometriosis. What is the connection?

Candida and Endometriosis. What is the connection?
You may have a little fungus that has grown into a massive invader simply lurking in your body, making you sick and much, much worse. You may not even recognise that the symptoms you are experiencing are actually all linked to this fungus, including infertility and pain. It is called Candida. I know when I first heard the word Candida, I thought it was just thrush which you get down there… you know the white itchy stuff but the reality is, Candida is probably living in all of us without that common symptom. 1 in 3 Americans has this in their body without recognising it!

Here are some of the symptoms:
  • Bloating
  • Clouded thinking
  • Depression
  • Diarrhea
  • Exhaustion
  • Bad Breath
  • Menstrual pains
  • Trush in the mouth (slimy white saliva). Check your tongue. Does it have a white layer on it?
  • Unclear memory recall
  • Yeast vaginitis – the trush you’re thinking of
  • Skin conditions like Athlete’s foot, eczema, itching and skin sensitivity
  • Allergies and sinus issues
  • Sore joints and muscles
  • Abdominal gas and bloating
  • Headaches
  • Sensitivity to fragrances or strong smells
Now I don’t know about you but I answered yes to almost all of those!

What makes Candida worse?
  • Sugar. I know you are going to hate me for this one but the sugar in natural sources is included in this one. That means apples, carrots and beetroot too :( .
  • Starches and flours. This means anything where yeast would grow. Flour, bread, potatoes, cakes etc.

How did we get it?
We have thrown out the balance and killed off the good bacteria which fight off Candida.
  • Dairy products
  • Mercury poisoning
  • Weak immune system
  • Anti-biotics
  • Birth Control Pills
  • Stress – thoughts of rejection or feelings of low self worth

What do we do about it?

Step 1
Make the environment in your body less favourable to live in. Stop feeding it what it likes! Sugar, starches and things that ferment. This includes beer, flours and sugar.

Get heaps of sunlight. These little critters like the warm, damp areas of your body. Get some sun on your body! I know everyone is always ragging us about protecting ourselves from sunburn but we need to dry out the insides with sunlight. Choose a time of day when the sun is not super hot, like first thing in the morning and smother yourself in coconut oil. This will protect the skin, plus coconut oil is also absorbed into the body to fight off the bug. – it has anti-bacterial properties. Ideally you want to lie in the sun completely nude…. but a bikini will be fine too. Enjoy it. Soak it up :)

Get lots of oxygen to flush it out. This means, better breathing and exercise. Take up some deep breathing exercises to really get the air into those cells. Here is a great video on how to do this.
Get the damp out of your environment. It loves damp warm spaces. Make sure your home is dry and free from damp.

Step 2
How to kill the little sucker!
  • Drink some tea! Pau d’arco tea is the most recommended. Drink this tea four times a day. You can also drink Cat’s Claw Tea and Horsetail tea.
  • Olive Leaf Extract. Drink 30ml twice a day. How to make your own Olive Leaf Extract.
  • Take MSM which clears out mercury in the body and toxins.
  • Increase the good salts in your diet. Get Kelp Salt. This contains seaweed which is also brilliant for killing off the Candida.
  • Bee Pollen contains heaps of minerals and vitamins and is a natural infection fighter.
  • Increase the garlic and onion quantities in your diet.
  • Oregano Oil capsules
  • Berberine Herbs
  • NCD Liquid Zeolite

Step 3
Maintain a good diet to prevent the Candida coming back. That means increase:
  • Avocado
  • Cranberry
  • Noni
  • Olives
  • Pumpkin
  • Zucchini
  • Cucumber – excellent for flushing things out
  • Parsley
  • Miso
Also get heaps of good bacteria into the body to fight it off:
  • Colostrum
  • Probiotics
  • Miso Soup
  • Yoghurt from organic sources. Try buffalo, sheep and other varieties. Remember: no sugar yoghurts :)
  • Incorporate Coconut Oil in your cooking and daily use. If you haven’t had any, have a teaspoon before bed. Also great as a natural moisturiser!
  • Drink Olive Leaf Extract and the above tea options every week or so, just to ensure they don’t come back.
While this Candida is living in your body, your digestion will be the first thing to be affected. It then slowly invades all other areas of your body. It gets into the bloodstream which affects everything.
So, get onto it right now! This is not something you want to have living in there to completely take over your body!

If you are not sure you have Candida, it doesn’t hurt to drink the teas and the other suggestions as they will clear out any toxins you have in your body anyways. I drink Olive Leaf Extract daily as it protects the body from any infections anywhere :)

How to Avoid the Top 10 Most Common Toxins
Posted By Dr. Mercola | February 19 2005 | 78,679views
By Dr. Joseph Mercola with Rachael Droege

There are many upsides to living in a modern, high-tech society (like having access to the Internet and digital cameras and MP3 audio players to name a few of my favorites.) But as with most things in life and in nature, whether you call it yin and yang, balance or the principle that opposites attract, with the upside comes a significant downside.

For all of the conveniences and advances that we have grown so accustomed to comes a slew of environmental toxins -- chemicals and other materials largely from industry and carelessness -- that have very much saturated our water, our food and the very air we breathe.

Many of these toxins are things that you can't see, smell or feel, at least not right away. One of the major problems with them is just that. We don't realize that we're being affected until we come down with a chronic disease after years of subtle and often consistent exposure to a combination of these toxins.

This makes it almost impossible to pinpoint a specific environmental toxin as the source of illness, yet when you look at the facts -- the increasing numbers of cancers, immune system disorders, neurological problems, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple chemical sensitivities, allergies and hormonal disturbances that are facing the nation -- it is hard NOT to take notice. Consider these statistics:
  • Some 77,000 chemicals are produced in North America
  • Over 3,000 chemicals are added to our food supply
  • More than 10,000 chemical solvents, emulsifiers and preservatives are used in food processing
  • 1,000 new chemicals are introduced each year
Where do all of these chemicals end up? They are absorbed into our groundwater, rivers, lakes and oceans, spewed into our air, and added, quite intentionally, to our food supply.

The Effects of Toxins on Your Body
A study in last year's British Medical Journal estimated that perhaps 75 percent of most cancers are caused by environmental and lifestyle factors, including exposure to chemicals. Another report, this one by the Columbia University School of Public Health, estimated that 95 percent of cancer is caused by diet and environmental toxicity.

This is really not surprising when you consider that estimates show most Americans have somewhere between 400 and 800 chemicals stored in their bodies, typically in fat cells. Some of the short- and long-term effects of these toxins include:
  • Neurological disorders (Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, depression, attention deficit disorder, schizophrenia, etc.)
  • Cancer
  • Nutritional deficiencies
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Enzyme dysfunction
  • Altered metabolism
  • Reproductive disorders
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Obesity
  • Muscle and vision problems
  • Immune system depression
  • Allergies/Asthma
  • Endocrine disorders
  • Chronic viral infections
  • Less ability to tolerate/handle stress
The 10 Most Common Toxins
The following toxins are among the most prevalent in our air, water and/or food supply. This list is by no means all-inclusive, as thousands of other toxins are also circulating in our environment. Keep reading to find out tips to avoid these toxins and others as much as possible.
  1. PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls): This industrial chemical has been banned in the United States for decades, yet is a persistent organic pollutant that's still present in our environment.
Risks: Cancer, impaired fetal brain development
    Major Source:
Farm-raised salmon. Most farm-raised salmon, which accounts for most of the supply in the United States are fed meals of ground-up fish that have absorbed PCBs in the environment and for this reason should be avoided.
  2. Pesticides: According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), 60 percent of herbicides, 90 percent of fungicides and 30 percent of insecticides are known to be carcinogenic. Alarmingly, pesticide residues have been detected in 50 percent to 95 percent of U.S. foods.
Risks: Cancer, Parkinson's disease, miscarriage, nerve damage, birth defects, blocking the absorption of food nutrients
Major Sources: Food (fruits, vegetables and commercially raised meats), bug sprays
  3. Mold and other Fungal Toxins: One in three people have had an allergic reaction to mold. Mycotoxins (fungal toxins) can cause a range of health problems with exposure to only a small amount.
Risks: Cancer, heart disease, asthma, multiple sclerosis, diabetes
Major Sources: Contaminated buildings, food like
peanuts, wheat, corn and alcoholic beverages
  4. Phthalates: These chemicals are used to lengthen the life of fragrances and soften plastics.
Risks: Endocrine system damage (phthalates chemically mimic hormones and are particularly dangerous to children)
Major Sources: Plastic wrap, plastic bottles, plastic food storage containers. All of these can leach phthalates into our food.
  5. VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds): VOCs are a major contributing factor to ozone, an air pollutant. According to the EPA, VOCs tend to be even higher (two to five times) in indoor air than outdoor air, likely because they are present in so many household products.
Risks: Cancer, eye and respiratory tract irritation, headaches, dizziness, visual disorders, and memory impairment
Major Sources: Drinking water, carpet, paints, deodorants, cleaning fluids, varnishes, cosmetics, dry cleaned clothing, moth repellants, air fresheners.
  6. Dioxins: Chemical compounds formed as a result of combustion processes such as commercial or municipal waste incineration and from burning fuels (like wood, coal or oil).
Risks: Cancer, reproductive and developmental disorders, chloracne (a severe skin disease with acne-like lesions), skin rashes, skin discoloration, excessive body hair, mild liver damage
Major Sources: Animal fats: Over 95 percent of exposure comes from eating commercial animal fats.
  7. Asbestos: This insulating material was widely used from the 1950s to 1970s. Problems arise when the material becomes old and crumbly, releasing fibers into the air.
Risks: Cancer, scarring of the lung tissue, mesothelioma (a rare form of cancer)
Major Sources: Insulation on floors, ceilings, water pipes and healing ducts from the 1950s to 1970s.
  8. Heavy Metals: Metals like arsenic, mercury, lead, aluminum and cadmium, which are prevalent in many areas of our environment, can accumulate in soft tissues of the body.
Risks: Cancer, neurological disorders, Alzheimer's disease, foggy head, fatigue, nausea and vomiting, decreased production of red and white blood cells, abnormal heart rhythm, damage to blood vessels
Major Sources: Drinking water, fish, vaccines, pesticides, preserved wood, antiperspirant, building materials,
    dental amalgams, chlorine plants
  9. Chloroform: This colorless liquid has a pleasant, nonirritating odor and a slightly sweet taste, and is used to make other chemicals. It's also formed when chlorine is added to water.
Risks: Cancer, potential reproductive damage, birth defects, dizziness, fatigue, headache, liver and kidney damage.
Major Sources: Air, drinking water and food can contain chloroform.
  10. Chlorine: This highly toxic, yellow-green gas is one of the most heavily used chemical agents.
Risks: Sore throat, coughing, eye and skin irritation, rapid breathing, narrowing of the bronchi, wheezing, blue coloring of the skin, accumulation of fluid in the lungs, pain in the lung region, severe eye and skin burns, lung collapse, reactive airways dysfunction syndrome (RADS) (a type of asthma)
Major Sources: Household cleaners, drinking water (in small amounts), air when living near an industry (such as a paper plant) that uses chlorine in industrial processes.
Tips to Avoid Toxins
Way Healthier Air Purifiers duplicate Nature's own methods by creating ultraviolet lightrays and hydroxyl radicals to oxidize organic odors, germs and fungi -- the most effective and safe method to clean and revitalize your indoor air. Way Healthier uses exclusive technology you won't find in any other air purifier to:
  • Eliminate Allergens So You Can Breathe Easier
  • Destroy ALL Unwanted Pollutants
  • Sanitize Surfaces and The Air You Breathe
  • Energy Efficient for Round the Clock Use
  • Save You Money -- No Filters To Replace!
  • Truly Silent Operation
  • Purify Even a Large Room Easily (up to 750 square feet!)
It's impossible in this day and age to avoid all environmental toxins. What you can do, however, is limit your exposure as much as possible with the following tips:
  • Buy and eat, as much as possible, organic produce and free-range, organic foods. If you can only purchase one organic product it probably should be free range organic eggs. Fortunately most grocery stores now have these available. If they don't contact the store manager and encourage them to carry them. Additionally I believe raw milk products are a key to staying healthy. They are best obtained locally but many people have a great challenge finding them. I have made special arrangements with a dairy in the only state that raw milk products are legal, California, so you can easily obtain them.
  • Rather than eating fish, which is largely contaminated with PCBs and mercury, consume a high-quality krill oil. Another option is to have your wild-caught fish lab tested to find out if it is a pure source (we've found a delicious Alaskan wild red salmon that contains less than .1ppm mercury, is PCB-free and safe).
  • Avoid processed foods -- remember that they're processed with chemicals!
  • Only use natural cleaning products in your home. Most health food stores will have these available or you can search online for them. You can also choose the PerfectClean ultra-microfiber cleaning cloths. Due to their ultra-microfiber construction, you can use them with only water (so you eliminate the need for cleaning your home with chemicals).
  • Switch over to natural brands of toiletries, including shampoo, toothpaste, antiperspirants and cosmetics. Same sources here, either your local health food store or you can search on line.
  • Avoid spraying insect repellants that contain DEET on your body. There are safe, effective and natural alternatives out there, like Neem-Based Botanical Outdoor Gel.
  • Remove any metal fillings as they're a major source of mercury. Be sure to have this done by a qualified biological dentist. Although nearly any dentist is technically qualified to replace your amalgam fillings, far less than 95 percent have any clue on how to do it properly so your risk of mercury exposure is minimized. Please avoid the mistake I have seen THOUSANDS of patients make and have your fillings replaced by a non-qualified dentist. I made this mistake myself nearly 20 years ago. Do it right the first time and save yourself the expense and grief. If you don't personally know a qualified biological dentist, many people find one by contacting several of the health food stores in their area and asking the employees who they know. This is typically an excellent resource as they are usually networked quite well in the local health community.
  • Avoid using artificial air fresheners, dryer sheets, fabric softeners or other synthetic fragrances as they can pollute the air you are breathing.
  • Avoid artificial food additives of all kind, including artificial sweeteners and MSG
  • Get plenty of safe sun exposure to boost your vitamin D levels and your immune system (you'll be better able to fight disease).
  • Have your tap water tested and, if contaminants are found, install an appropriate water filter on all your faucets (even those in your shower or bath).
  • Seek to build your health up through the nutrition insights detailed in my Total Health Program, and then limit your use of drugs (prescription and over-the-counter) as much as possible. Drugs are chemicals too, and they will leave residues and accumulate in your body over time.

hope...dear you~ (^o~)v

Dear you,
I want to tell you that I believe in you;
I believe in your mind.
And all the dreams, intelligence,
and determination within you.

You can accomplish anything.
You have so much open to you.
So please don't give up on what you want.
From life or from yourself.

Please don't put away the dreams inside of you.
You have the power to make them real.
You have the power to make yourself exactly what you want to be.
Believe in yourself the way I do, and
nothing will be beyond your reach.

Today is the day to LET GO and RELEASE all the things that are causing you PAIN in your life and avoiding you from MOVING FORWARD. It's the time to RISE above anything that is bringing you DOWN! You CAN and WILL make a difference in your LIFE. Only if you CHOOSE!

When life puts you in tough situations,
Don't say Why Me? Just say Try Me!

People enter into our life for a reason, either they were send by Allah to helps us have faith in Him, or as a test to us.
Some of us are lucky, that these people bring along with them messages to distinguish what's right from wrong. It's up to us on how we decode & interprete it.
We have to learn to appreciate people when they enter into our life by not being too arrogant, or we might miss the chance to learn a good lesson in life.

9 jenis syaitan

Saidina Umar al-Khattab r.a. berkata, terdapat sembilan jenis anak syaitan yang mesti kita berwaspada agar tidak terjerumus ke lembah kehinaan. Berikut adalah jenis anak syaitan tersebut :

DAASIM
Duduk di muka pintu rumah kita. jika kita tidak memberi salam ketika masuk ke rumah, Daasim akan bertindak agar berlaku keruntuhan rumah tangga (suami isteri bercerai-berai, suami bertindak ganas, isteri hilang pertimbangan menuntut cerai dan pelbagai bentuk kemusnahan rumah tangga yang lain)

WATHIIN

A'AWAN

prenatal vitamin

hari nie bukak FB nampak post dari Dr. Zubaidi...pasal pre-natal Vitamin...aku pon amek gak prenavit nie...tp jap makan jap lupa la...huhu...xleh nak copy tapi aku link kat cni postnyer...

and utk simpanan aku sendiri...aku re-type la kat cni...mintak share yer Dr. Zubaidi...senang nak tau ukuran yg patot diambil...maklumlah aku merancang utk pregnen tp masih belom...so kalo nak amek dos yg berlebihan xelok plak kan...

IRON (ZAT BESI)
iron (zat besi) penting utk pembentukan sel darah merah yg berfungsi membawa oksigen ke seluruh tubuh. ia mengurangkan risiko kelahiran pramatang.

KALSIUM

OMEGA-3
omega-3 diperlukan utk perkembangan otak, membentuk sistem saraf & mjamin penglihatan yg baik. ikan adalah sumber terbaik bg omega-3 terutama ikan salmon. malangnya ikan salmon dibimbangi boleh menyebabkan keracunan merkuri, akibat pencemaran sungai di US. bg wanita yg hamil & menyusukan bayi, dos yg dicadangkan ialah 200-300 mg sehari.

NASIHAT DARI DR. ZUBAIDI

symptoms of endometriosis~

i have some of it...maybe most of it...hehe...here the link of reference .. i love this website...she plan on cure endo in natural way...without clinging to drugs and operation as the main source... glad found this web..really helpful in many ways...

You may not have all of the symptoms with Endometriosis. If you have at least 7 of them, it is worth researching further to ensure you can commence healing your body.

1.Period Pain
This is the most obvious symptom. The period pain will generally be severe on the first two days and will generally not go away with just a pain killer or two. Your period pain is likely to be set amongst other symptoms such as digestive issues, emotional mood swings and irritability. Some women get such severe pain that cannot walk or even go to work. When the pain is ever single month then this is not normal. Women with Endometriosis often also experience longer periods or heavier periods but this is not always a definite indicator of Endometriosis as some women still have the condition with very little bleeding.

2.Digestive issues
When we first go to the doctor with “lower abdominal pain”, their first point of reference is going to be our digestion. When they ask us the usual questions, what is your digestion like? Do you have diarrhea? Constipation? Cramping? Well, yes we do…. all of the above. The problem is, these are actually a symptom of Endometriosis as well as other digestive issues. One of the ways to work out which is which, Endometriosis digestive issues are very closely related to our hormone fluctuations. We generally get an extreme (diarrhea or constipation) just before or during our period. Our digestion is closely linked to our hormones in our body so naturally they will interlink.

3.Lower Back Pain
This isn’t always a definite one but definitely worth a mention as many women suffer from lower back pain and don’t make the connection to Endometriosis. The Endometriosis can develop in the lower area of the pelvic area and settle on the Pouch of Douglas. This sits very closely to the nerves on the lower back and can therefore cause lower back pain. This can lead to pain running down the legs and hip area.

4.Feeling Emotional
PMS is one sign of Endometriosis but generally we have PMS times 10! We get such extremes with our emotions. It can be so extreme it causes friends to leave, boyfriends to break up with us and all sorts of nasty results. We feel everything in extreme. Extreme anger, extreme depression, extreme happiness. It is a heightened sense of emotions and they are not always during that first week of our period. They can occur at any time, for no logical reason (until you make a note of them and notice the trends).

5.Back aching and tension in the shoulders
The upper area of your back is likely to tense up and become stiff, especially around your period time. There are a number of theories as to why this is but many believe it has to do with a lack of minerals which your body requires for your monthly cycle, which it draws from other parts of the body, such as Magnesium.

6. Feeling cold often
This is based on a Traditional Chinese Theory that women who have Endometriosis have “caught the cold or damp” in their body. They believe we can chase out the cold from the body and thereby heal the Endometriosis. One of the symptoms I noticed was that I get cold easily and that my feet are often cold, even in summer. It is not a definite one either but it does show an imbalance in the body, which should get some attention.

7. Nausea
I personally don’t get much of this symptom anymore but I remember when my Endometriosis was extreme I would get it on the day of my period or a few days before. I would get it so bad that I would have to literally get sick to feel better. It was bad during the month too, especially when I was younger, in my teens. I would struggle to eat anything without feeling somewhat ill or queezy afterwards.

8. The love of sugar
A strong dependence on sugar is a big one. I noticed this once I went off sugar and how much I was actually addicted to it. I didn’t think I could live without sugar and when I did, I would get incredibly depressed, hollow like something major had happened in my life. I was incredibly dependant. Women with Endometriosis often express this love for sugar. I think it has to do with wanting to boost their Glycemic Index but it is often an emotional comfort food.

9. Sore Breasts
Having sore breasts a few days before your period is due is also quite common with girls who have Endometriosis. It can be so severe that you can’t stand the idea of walking anywhere and is caused by water retention in the body. Cutting out coffee is one of the easiest remedies to get rid of sore breasts.

10.Headaches, Migraines
Headaches are actually a sign from your body that is it not entirely happy with you. If you get them on a constant basis, this is a sign that you should listen to your body and change something! Both headaches and migraines are closely linked to hormone imbalances in the body.

11. Feeling tired when you get up in the morning
You should feel rested when you get up right? When you have Endometriosis it is common to feel tired often and especially hard to get up in the morning. This is because the body is still working through toxins in the liver.

12. Other inflammations in the body
Endometriosis is an inflammatory condition. This means the body is essentially “under attack”. The body will often display other inflammations in other areas of the body, such as an inflamed bladder, called Intestitial Cystitis. Other areas of inflammation can include your gums, your bowel and any organ that can become inflamed easily.

13. Poor skin health
No matter what cleanser you buy or how hard you try, your skin is still breaking out! You try natural things, you try stronger things and yet somehow your skin is never perfectly clear. The skin is a natural toxin releaser of the body. Endometriosis is closely linked to toxins in the body. When our skin is unhealthy it shows an imbalance and toxins are sitting in the body. Please note: there are heaps of reason why one can have poor skin but it is common for women with Endometriosis to have poor skin to go with it.

14. Puffy eyes or eye troubles
I never made the connection that when my eyes got all gritty and sore that it was related to my endometriosis. It is only now that my condition is heaps better that I recognise this as a symptom. Puffy eyes are also a sign of toxins sitting in the liver. They can be an indicator of gluten intolerance too. Our eyes are incredibly sensitive and show so much about our health!

15. Allergies
It is common for women who have Endometriosis to also suffer from Allergies, including an itchy nose, sore or watery eyes and an itchy throat. This is yet another overreaction by the body to defend you. Endometriosis girls generally have a lowered immune system which is the same reason we get allergies.

16. Pain during sex
This is one of the first symptoms I recognise as being related to Endometriosis as you can feel it instantly. It is a dull ache for me but for many women it can be quite severe and they can also experience it afterwards, in waves of cramping pain.

17. Bladder infections
It is common with Endometriosis sufferers to have an inflamed bladder and thereby also getting frequent bladder infections. If you are having bladder infections more than 3 times in a 6month period, this could be a sign of Endometriosis.

18. Bloating in the abdominal area
This is obviously going to be one of those that could be part of many other conditions but with Endometriosis it feels like you permanently have this extra weight sitting in your abdominal cavity. You try and go to toilet to get it out but it is permanently there. It feels swollen and sore. It can be only at certain times of the month but many women with Endometriosis have this feeling on a permanent basis.

19. A permanent ache in the lower abdominal area
There are many Endometriosis sufferers who don’t get this feeling at all but it is a symptom so in it goes! It feels like this kinda dull aching pain in one area of the lower abdominal area. It is not dramatically sore but it is just kinda there.

20. Eczema and skin conditions
Women with Endometriosis also often experience skin sensitivities due to a poor immune system and the desire for the body to release toxins from the body.

10 way to deal with endometriosis~

today, despite of the fatigue due to cooking for small event...still wanna share some of my readings...can also view here ..

1. Eat Well, Feel Well
Eating well will ensure you reduce the symptoms often associated with Endometriosis. This means you should avoid heavy meals like meat, eggs and dairy. Sugar and chocolate should also be avoided to reduce the pains associated with Endometriosis. An ideal diet would be a vegetarian diet with lots of vegetables and fruit giving the body the best vitamins, roughage and liquid required.

2. Exercise and movement
Regular exercise will ensure sufficient movement in the body. This also eliminates toxins and ensures the body expels what it needs to. This could include walking, tai chi, yoga or other “softer” forms of exercise. It is advisable to exercise every day, twice a day for shorter times rather than pushing yourself for long periods once a week. This will encourage your body to adapt slowly without exerting the body unnecessarily.

3. Stay positive
It is easy to feel isolated and out of control with Endometriosis. The condition can seem so erratic and can cause pain which you feel you can’t control or know where it has come from. By simply believing that you can cure yourself and that the pain is only temporary, you will automatically feel better.

4. Build on your relationship outside of the bedroom
When you have constant pain and are worrying about experiencing pain during sex, it is often very difficult to feel like having sex with your partner. You may feel like you are not able to give your partner everything they require, as you are not able to be there for them in a sexual way. This can place huge strain on a relationship. Try to take your “bonding” time outside of the bedroom and create something else together, to still maintain the bond you have to each other. Nice ways to do this would be to start a project together like re-designing the garden together or starting new hobbies together. You know your relationship well enough to work out what bonds you share and how to build on those.

5. Boost your body
Endometriosis sufferers naturally have a lower immune system so it is a good idea to give your body a boost to cope and to help fight the condition easier. There are some fantastic products emerging daily which offer extra immune boosting powers, anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatory elements and heaps of amino acids to fight free radicals. I would recommend Aloe Vera Juice and Noni Juice as examples; however there are many other juices which offer similar properties and benefits.

6. Get a plan that solves the problem
This is not a condition that will go away by having endless operations or taking hormone treatments. These might solve the problem on a temporary basis, even sometimes for years but the condition is likely to reappear years later, often worse or with more side effects. A plan involves finding holistic methods which you feel comfortable with and working through a process of healing your body the natural way. This will ensure lasting results and a general overall feeling of well-being for you.

7. Get support
It is important to find people who you can share your story with. People that understand your condition can relate and most importantly make you feel better about it. Support means that you find people within your community or within online communities that give real solutions to how you feel and give you positive answers.

8. Keep Warm
One of the ways to alleviate symptoms and to reduce pain is to keep warm, from the inside and the outside. This could include drinking lots of herbal teas, hot ginger drinks (naturally warms the body) and eating warming foods like soups and broths. You will probably naturally crave having hot baths! The other methods to keep warm could be to get a heat pack or water bottle which you can place on your tummy while watching TV or sitting down for longer periods.

9. Reduce Stress
Stress is always going to affect you more as you will naturally cramp your abdominal muscles when you do so, causing the endometriosis cells to be squeezed with them. Stress is often a mental state which you can control through positive thinking and telling yourself that “everything is okay”. There are many ways to reduce stress but my favourites are: laughing, deep breathing and playing with the pets.

10. Don’t overwork yourself.
Unfortunately, your body has limits and you are better off recognising this to prevent further pain down the track. Recognise when you are tired and when you need a break and TAKE IT. You need to be strict with yourself to ensure you look after your body and give it plenty of rest.

These are all great ways to deal with Endometriosis and act as a great guideline – print it off and stick it on your bedroom mirror!  (well just copied here...easy for my future reference..wink)

on top of the world...

nie salah satu lagu yang aku suka... on top of the world from barbie princess charm school..huhu...i love this song coz its blows the spirit of will power...so that we can be confident..believe in ourself...pursue to succeed~~huhu...never too old for the barbie...ahaks...

I don't have the balance
think I'm gonna fall
wish I had the talent
I don't belong here at all

drowning in the pressure
in over my head
why did I think I could do this
I could have walk away instead

This is my chance to break free
everything's depending on me
and if I keep trying I'll be
on top of the world
where I can see everything before me
reaching up to touch the sky
on top of the world

all my dreams are rushing towards me
stretching out my wings to fly
on top of the world

on top of the world

nothing's gonna break me
gonna get it right
even if it takes me
doing it a thousand times
trying once is easy
dicipline is hard
but nothing can defeat me
if the change is in my heart

this is my chance to break free (this is my chance)
everything's is depending on me (on me)
and if I keep trying I'll be (I'll be)
on top of the world
where i can see everything before me
stretching out my wings to fly
on top of the world

healthy diet..how hard could it be??

healthy diet for endo sufferer is far different from healthy diet to cut/loose a weight.. if based on food pyramid itself, we shud balance our meal..but how much balance is the enuf balance for endo sufferer? for others if we eat less meat, more rice, bread, more fruit & vege, just enuf milk, cheese intake..it is already a healthy diet.. but for endo sufferer we have to cut a few things in our diet.. a MUST DO! we have to say strictly NO to all of this item:

NO Wheat (as it contains gluten) .. seek a substitute which is gluten free then!
NO Caffeine (I don't mind the coffee..but chocolate hv great temptation for me!)
NO Alcohol (lucky never touch this as Allah strictly forbid us!)
NO Sugar (go for maple syrup, honey maybe..)
NO Red Meat (substitute : white meat & fish)
NO Soy (this rather controversial, some have different opinion.. Why when I learn to love the soy I get to know about this??)
NO Junk-food (hrmmpppp...i'm craving for it!!!)
NO Dairy (substitute: almond milk, coconut milk... woww! expensive & hard to find)
NO Tinned & Frozen food
NO Smoking (I'm not! but people around me do!)
NO Saturated fats & oil
NO Refined Carbohydrates (have in pasta, bread, cakes, pastry..)
NO Additives & Preservative

so many NO rite..then what left to be eaten????

I went thru lot of website to gather information about endometriosis diet.. (wow! my brain cell must've been really workout as since I have endo I do read a lot! wink wink).. here some of the info that can be shared.

P/s : certain vegetables have substances that activate liver enzymes and help the liver to detoxify chemicals. This allows the liver to eliminate excess estrogen from the body more effectively. These vegetables include: broccoli, cauliflower and brussel sprouts.

When we eat healthy, we can also sharpen our mental alertness, help us stop feeling so sluggish, give us more energy, regulate our sleep pattern, balance blood sugar level, regulate bowel movement, regulate metabolism & body weight, it also control hyperactivity.

Supplement and vitamin also important to us.. here are the list of vitamin intake we should have...

P/s: Auto immune diseases are thought to be triggered by free-radicals in the body, which could be an added factor in Endometriosis. Free radicals are destructive molecules and are found naturally in the body but can be made worse by pollution, stress, illness and smoking.

i declare war to negative thoughts

Out of sudden, hari nie aku teringat lukisan waktu aku satu class time ACCA dulu kena buat.. Lecturer suh kitorang tulis atas kertas this motivation words sehabes creative.. I DECLARE WAR TO NEGATIVE THOUGHTS! so masing2 mencoraklah lukisan tuh secantik yang bleh... aku wat ala2 dak sekolah jek...tapi colourful .. (eceh perasan cantik la kan).. tapi sebenarnyer xkesah cantik atau x.. yg penting kite buat sepenuh hati..jd kite akan puas hati dengan hasilnye..pedulikan ape org kata..huhu~

Lukisan yg dah siap tuh kitorang kena tampal di tempat yang setiap masa akan tgk..first thing in the morning and last thing in the nite... so aku pon tampal la kat dinding tpt tidur..sebagai tambahan keyakinan diri aku snap n wat sebagai wallpaper phone aku.. setiap pagi n sebelum tido kena ckp ayat tu dgn penuh semangat.. well secara terapinya bila kite keep ulang pada diri sendiri..mindset kite akan berubah jd lebey positive..inner peace.. pada aku mmg betul...bila aku rasa kurang yakin atau bila aku dengar benda negative atau pikiran aku start menerawang ke arah negative thinking neyh...aku akan ingat ayat nie...n aku akan ulang balik dalam pikiran aku..sampai skang pon aku masih ingat ayat nie..whenever i feel i need some support..huhu...it's help!!

Tapi ye larr kadang2 kite as manusia nie selalu lupa..kdg2 kite akan negative..terbawa2 perasaan tuh.. membuatkan kite buat sesuatu yg kurang wajar..xbley nk salahkan sesape la kan...normal as manusia kite akan sentiasa cuba disesatkan oleh syaitan yg cuba menguasai akal fikiran kite..tapi kite kena cuba calm ourselves..tarik nafas panjang2...hembus...ulang lagi...huhuhu...sampai kite tenang.. sampai kite boleh kuasai semula pikiran kite..bile kite dah tenang...dah boleh pikir ape yang xwajar kite buat...cepat2 la betulkan...e.g: kalo dah buat salah..cepat2 mintak maaf..huhu, sebab lg lambat lg melarat plak nanti kan...kalo tarik nafas xjalan... buat la ikot ajaran Islam kite.. duduk, baring, amik wuduk, solat, istigfar bnyk2...InsyaAllah salah satu dari padanya akan buat kite kembali waras...hehehe~

bila ade doc kate aku ada endo stage 3 hrmpp pada mulanya like shock la jugak...tapi sebab aku dah bersedia mental jd aku xterkejut sgt..cuma aku still perlukan back-up..moral support..especially from my other halves la kan...knowing he's still stick wif me with patient, love, care n wisdom really means a lots.. keep hoping we'll get thru this together.. utk keep mental n fizikal strong xsenang..tp xjgk susah... utk sementara sentiasa gembirakan hari..buat hati kite selalu tersenyum..biarlah ape orang kata..biar apa juga berita yg kite terima..kite akan lebey redha.. sesungguhnya Allah tidak menguji hambaNya melainkan yang terdaya ditanggung oleh mereka.. dan ujian yang hadir adalah pesanan, ingatan dan juga mahabbah dari Allah..supaya kite kembali kepadaNya dan sebagai ujian kecekalan iman kite.. jadi bila tiada tempat lain yang boleh kite bergantung...kembalilah kepada Allah..sesungguhnya Allah adalah tpt bergantung harap n tpt memohon pertolongan yg terbaik..~~

so...... SMILE and stay POSITIVE!! shout this out .. I DECLARE WAR TO NEGATIVE THOUGHTS!!  v('',)
